composer and performer, Gerald Muwonge a.k.a Clever J has acquired overnight
fame for his runaway hit Manzi Wanani. His father Mr John Bukenya a
businessman, advised him to abandon his childhood talent of football for music.
However, his mother Rosemary Nalujja never agreed with him.
Clever J parted ways with his
mother seven years ago after she called him a brat. "She saw a tattoo on
my hand she said I was spoilt. so I decided to walk out of her life," he
says. Clever J says he made an album in tribute to his mum. The seven-track
album was released in 2017 titled Sweet Mama.
