Alien Skin reveals retirement plans, making way for younger artists in music industry

By the end of this year, Alien Skin intends to stop performing music professionally. He also discussed his immediate plans.

Alien Skin, also known as Patrick Mulwana, has been telling people that he won't be actively making music beyond December 2023 for a few months now.

But since he began working in the music industry more than nine months ago, his admirers have consistently asked him to keep singing and sending them the feelings.

The Fangone Forest singer insists that his decision to quit has not changed. He disclosed his motivations while speaking with Spark TV's Joweriah.

"I will indeed stop making music, that much is true. It's not illegal since I grew up hearing new artists criticize older, more renowned artists for monopolizing the spotlight for too long and preventing them from receiving blessings, said Alien Skin.

In order to make room for newer musicians to emerge and fill the void, he has decided to retire from music. In order to allow others to fill the space, he continued, "I want to leave some of it empty."

Alien Skin joked that, after retiring from music, his next step would be to found a group for lawbreakers because it, after music, would be his best skill.
