Irene Kayemba, a singer and sister of Bobi Wine, was
officially introduced as the Bidco Uganda brand ambassador earlier today.
With integrated activities spanning upstream oil palm farms
and mills, midstream edible oil refineries, and downstream consumer goods,
Bidco Uganda Ltd (BUL) is Uganda's major agribusiness.
Some of Uganda's most popular brands for food, hygiene,
personal care, and edible oils may now be found at BUL.
Irene Kayemba, a singer, has signed on to serve as a brand
ambassador for the company in an effort to broaden its customer base and
nurture homegrown talent.
The artist was introduced earlier today at a press
conference held at Forest Cottages in Naguru. Company executives spoke to the
media there as well.
In addition to Nze Amulina, Woman, Omulongo, and Binyuma,
Irene Kayemba is a vibrant, gifted, and enthusiastic singer.
Irene Kayemba was chosen as the brand ambassador by Bidco
Uganda executives because she is a good mother, a respectable performer, and a
genuine advocate for social causes.
