Singer Grenade Official, real
name Deus Ndugwa, recently related a story of being sent to prison by fellow
musician Pallaso over a pair of shoes during an appearance on Galaxy TV.
Having lived with Pallaso for a while, Grenade Official claimed that he regarded
Pallaso as a parent. Still, a quarrel over a pair of shoes caused their
relationship to fall apart.
Pallaso received the shoes from Henry, one of his brothers, Grenade clarified.
Pallaso requested that Grenade give up the shoes once Henry returned from his
trip overseas, saying they weren't intended for him. Grenade declined to
comply.
Because Grenade was adamant on
keeping the pair of shoes, he chose to move out of Pallaso's house and look for
another place to live rather than give them up.
Pallaso, Grenade said, looked for him nonstop and one day he discovered Grenade
at the Auto Spa hangout, where he was hanging out in the same white shirt and
shoes.
