Uganda will be represented at Coke Studio by the artists Zulitums and Fik Fameica.
This year's Coke Studio, which is back after a two-year break, is headlined by American performer Jon Batiste and includes the collaborative anthem Embrace Your Authentic Self (The Real Magic), which was written by K-Pop sensation NewJeans, Grammy winner Camilo, UK singer-songwriter Cat Burns, and Atlanta rapper J.I.D.
The likes of Yung Stunna and Nasty C from South Africa, Mayorkun and Buju from Nigeria, and international superstars Sam Smith and Imagine Dragons will perform with Zulitums and Fik Fameica on stage.
The senior franchise manager for Coca-Cola in Uganda, Arthur Akankwasa, stated his delight about connecting with Gen Z and other younger consumers through this multicultural adventure.
With an extraordinary lineup of artists carefully chosen for the entertainment of our customers, this season "promises to be nothing short of enchanting and inspirational," he stated.
"With a particular focus on the Gen Z demographic, this time frame presents Coca-Cola with an exceptional opportunity to interact with a new generation of consumers. On September 21, the Motiv Warehouse in Kampala's Industrial Area hosted the premiere party for this year's edition. Journalists, producers, musicians, dancers, and artist managers were among the many music aficionados and stakeholders that attended the invitation-only event.
