Pastor Wilson Bugembe claims to have assisted Eddy Kenzo
in becoming president of the Uganda National Musicians Federation (UNMF), yet
he never mentions him."There's something I've been talking about these
days about the federation; is President Kenzo there?" Pastor Bugembe made
the remarks in the presence of Federation musicians Lydia Jazmine, Nina Roz,
and Lilian Mbabazi.

I was one among those who voted for Kenzo. I appointed
him President. But he never brings up the subject of me. Nonetheless, I voted
for him."
Bugembe inquired as to who seconded Sheebah Karungi for
the position of vice president, and Jazmine responded that it was both her and
Roz.
"Nina and I," Jazmine explained.
Meanwhile, Pastor Wilson Bugembe asked Eddy Kenzo to stop
fighting with Bobi Wine. He encouraged them to work together for the betterment
of the music industry. "Both Kenzo and Bobi Wine are saying good
things," he said.
"They
shouldn't undermine each other... they need to work together to build the
federation." Kenzo and Wine recently stung each other over the direction
of the Federation. Wine believes leaders of the Federation are schemers plotting
for government handouts with no big picture in mind. Wine has sternly rubbished
that, saying his intentions are pure.
The Uganda
National Musicians Federation aims to unite musicians and promote their
interests in Uganda by bringing together all associations in the industry under
one umbrella.
The Federation is a collaborative effort by musicians,
industry stakeholders, and the Ugandan government to unify the Ugandan music
industry. The Federation gathers various industry associations under one roof,
fostering growth, collaboration, and unity among artists and stakeholders.
