Bruno Semax is a Ugandan musician and businessman, born
on November 19, 1986 as Bruno Ssemanda in Magala village, Kayunga district.
Bruno grew up surrounded by music and was influenced by his role model, Mesach
Semakula, to create impactful music with deep and meaningful lyrics and vocals.
He attended Magala Primary School, City View School in
Kyebando, and later Gadaffi Integrated Academy. Living in Kawempe Mbogo in
Kampala, Bruno moved to the United States to pursue both business and his music
career.
He has collaborated with some of the top producers in
the industry, including Lead Rockie of Hills & Vines Records, Brian Jj, and
Nessim Pan Productions, who have helped him develop his unique Afrobeat sound.
Bruno's dedication and hard work have paid off, and he
has received recognition for his talents. In 2021-2022, he was awarded
"Best Male Diaspora Artist" at the High Skool Awards, solidifying his
place as a prominent figure in the Afrobeat genre.
