Eva Chris was born on 08th December, 1995 in jinja district, but comes from Namisindwa Formally Mbale district Uganda, to parents Wafula Steven and Kayirona Mbabazi. From a young age, She demonstrated a passion for music and an innate ability to sing fluently in Lusoga, Luganda, Swahili, Gishu and English.

Eva Chris 's education journey led her through various schools, including MM Primary school and KiikoPrimary school based in Kakira in Jinja district, where she completed her Primary Leaving Examination (PLE) in 2010. She later attended mother Keviin SS, for O’ level in 2014 , Kakira High Sec school for her high school studies, obtaining her Uganda advanced Certificate of Education (UACE) in 2016. She continued and joined Busoga Media institute where she graduated as Journalism. She has other skills in hotel management, hospitality and more.

Emergence in the Music Industry In 2018 she participated in akapera Music, events organized by Baba Media group. She entered officially to the music scene in 2021, marking the beginning of a significant chapter in her life. She released her debut single, Ntwala," under own promotion. In 2023, She joined Awa Talent management." Where she released another hit Ninze Oyo. The songs are gaining popularity and serving as a launching pad for her promising career. Eva Chris 's unique, soft-toned voice distinguished her from other artists and resonated with listeners across Busoga, Uganda and beyond.
