Them Sing band started in 2013 with a very small family choir of 5
members at Nakirebe where it usually rehearsed in a house sitting room. The
initial idea of the band was to minister in a home church in Kawanda (LIBERTY
HEALING CENTER). more members later joined the band, and the number increased
to 12 which eventually changed the band vision to try and minister into other
different platforms.
Let them sing gradually became a very strong band where a lot more members
started desiring to join, but the number required was already maximum.
We organised a 2 week music tour to the Netherland where we performed in big
theathers, churches, schools and radio stations. It was indeed a memorable
tour.
We started to compose songs and other music piece arrangements as well as
learning to fuse African instruments (Adungu, panpipes, tube fiddle etc..) With
western instruments (piano, guitars, saxophone etc). Through this experience we
came up with an African hit song which we named YESU TUKWEBAZA.
We shot its official video and it trended all over the world through our social
media channels like facebook, Youtube and website.
