Maurice Cooper  born Sserubombwe Maurice is the first born of a family of four siblings. is a Ugandan urban dancehall artiste based in Kampala.The artiste started his musical journey in his high school days when in form 5  with a release of his first song titled ''Like this'' produced by O.J productions in 2007 which did not work well.

Maurice Cooper is becoming the new sound of Ugandan dancehall music with a unique touch,sound and heart warning lyrics which capture the young and wild.
Going an extra mile the artiste has released acouple of new songs like; None, You match up,Magical whine,Nah get weh,Ah suh mi dweet and more to mention
but a few.

Maurice Cooper is greatly  insipired by popular Jamaican dancehall acts like; Vybz Kartel plus some loacal acts who know what they are doing as an individual
Maurice Cooper's  insipirations change with time. Maurice Cooper has worked with some international dancehall producers like Artikal Ranks of Young buss kings ,Dj Ishens of Ishens music,J Zero of Hypemasters Analytical Alz,Nase pro and O.J  from O.J productions

As a good artiste he has featured on big reggae music platforms like Rocksolid radio count down in the U.K with a peak number 5, mediaz-empire.biz in france and the indie music channel home page Maurice Cooper's music is based more on happy times ranging from love,girls,clubs and haters. As its a cult in the dancehall world he is artikal and takes no chat from no man and he is ready to crush any body with a peeping tongue
